Well actually Marty, I think the sand sharks love menhaden and their have plenty of that bait fish around the Outer Banks this fall, thats for sure. The have also been seen harrying schools of bluefish. So its really no telling what those sand sharks are up too. I think it is extremely fun to catch them because they give one heck of a fight, but usually if they are feeding and are in large schools you can hang that up for they are probably feeding on small fish. Take care.
