Funny thing you should mention further north, south. Further north is where I usually go. Beach Haven on Long Beach Island to be exact. I'm familiar with that area, can read the water and shore line pretty good. Where I've been going this fall is about 40 minutes less driving time each way. Not familiar with the area and water, there is no drop off, just a gradual slope.
I think I'm learning, 80 minutes less driving time round trip =s no fish. 80 minutes more drive time =s fish. North it is. Man am I gonna be pissed when they show up where I've been going and I'm back in my comfort zone!!!
