First the good news. At that time of year the beaches will be open, last few years no one around.Been in Duck the last 25 years that week, we will be there May 9. We all come down that week just to finally get some time on the beach after a long winter and we are all fishermen That week usually sucks for fishing. Might find some dogfish and skates, maybe a croaker or spot.Not the best fishing month.Sorry. But at least a week on the Banks is better than anywhere else you can be.
