How are things on the PA portion of the north coast?? Snoooooooooooooooooooowy enuf??

On north coast now too, dealing w/ the same.

Plannin Ft. Lauderdale trip soon to shake down some new saltwater gear. Here's a laugh for you. Last year same trip fished canal adjoining daughters place. Saw nice fish + manatee - caught only crabs. Did morning on pier - caught a 3" too small to even identify. $ 15 to park. $15 for bait. $5 to get onto pier. And it rained, and only spot left was last 1/3 of pier which is posted "snag city". Had lots of break offs but son-in-law hooked biggest flounder seen in years after tryin to get it to bite for about 2 hours. Of course as he never sets hook - it fell off on the way up.

May trip?? You must like your water cold:):) You should be prepin for the trip by now!!

If you're lookin for off the beaten track restaurants while down, try the places in Wanchese. Also on way into Wanchese watch for the wholesale/retail shell shop (left side of the road) - if you're in the market. Retail store prices usually about 1/3 less than places on Rt 12 or the by-pass.
