You really won't know until then. It's possible you could catch speckled trout, puppy drum or resident stripers. I'd check with a tackle shop when you get there and find out what's happening where.

The beach at the fishing pier in Frisco might be a good place to find those fish. I'd fish the surf on the north side of the pier if the wind and current is from the north. The south side of the pier if the wind and current is from the south, that's where the bait will be. If nothing is happening there during the day and you just want to catch something big try after dark around high tide probably will be some 2'-4' size spiney dog sharks out and about or maybe something else.
