We were down in Buxton Wednesday through Saturday. Buxton got slammed again. Lot of flooding coming into town at the hotels. Overwash at the hotels cleared by the time we arrived. We stayed at the Outerbanks Motel, parked on high ground next to the dumpster. We have a few videos of the surf as it crashed on the sandbags. All the money spent on beach nourishment gone now, only took about 18 months. Down the road at the Old Lighthouse Rd. those houses took a beating. The area that was uncovered is off limits. We tried to get close but was asked to leave by Park Service.

Weather got better after Thursday and we did fish a bit down Ramp 49 way for a few hours. Caught zip but it was a great getaway.
