Have pin oaks + about 5 other varieties. One smaller in width than pin...don't know name offhand. Lawn service to be on the homestead Wed. to blow leaves. Still about 15% of Bradford pear on tree lawn and 30% of fronds on bald cypresses out back.

As for Harris...a waste.

Sounds like you were alone Thanksgiving. To be honest, even w/ the squeeze along, felt a bit out of it at family dinners. For sure this Capt's wife was the glue thru the years.

As for "red light". Be really in the dumps w/o the squeeze. Common values, crazy idiosyncrasies, and constant laughter have formed a bond. (You're still welcome to post squeeze pic to liven up things here.) This Capt identifies himself as her "current" lover and she has fun sayin things like "we're not pregnant yet, but are still tryin".

Made a melt in your mouth pork roast, sauerkraut (special recipe w/ brown sugar, onions) mashies and cranberry sauce last nite.

Latest project = gettin old VCR tapes (analog) to play thru (digital) TV. Thought needed, and bought, extra parts to do. Wrong. Finally all set up w/o those. Have about 40 tapes w/ 3 movies each to watch, + quite a few from videocam during days in Corolla. Include ...greatest electrical storm of all time and horses tryin to get into house in Whalehead.
