Thanks for the response and for the map. 30 miles out is about as far as I go (just a personally set range). I have a 23ft Sea Fox CC with a generator, hds live units, navionics, uhf, 36 volt trolling motor, etc, etc so I'm comfortable going out to that 30 mile boundary. I'm from Cincinnati, Ohio and new to fishing the obx area. I didn't have any issues navigating the inlet but those shifting sand bars are notable and i chose not to navigate them whenever possible even though i'd love to get into some speckled trout. Would really love to catch some mahi or tuna. I'm curious if that's going to mean a lot of trolling.
