We are also going to be in Frisco next week & fishing (2 adults & 3 teenagers). We're from No VA, but I've fished in OBX times in past 12 yrs (2 w/OBX fishing experience out of 5). We have plenty of gear & know the area well.
Below is an overview of pier/surf fishing options on Hatteras Island (we plan on . Four of us may also take a 1/2 day near-shore charter & we have room for two more (check my Craigslist advertisement) - http://outerbanks.craigslist.org/wan/1333410172.html. We've been on the "party/head boats" a few times, but found them a bit boaring & got lines tangled several times.
