All - Epilogue/Since - 6/11 - 7/9 Trip

Glad to have shared daily reports w/ those here not able to make the trip. As always not what the Chamber of Commerce would have you believe, but the "truth" even when its perceived as complainin. Always support locals as much as possible but never to the point of reporting untruths.
4 weeks w/ move in/out of 4 houses will not happen again. Reached age where it's just too much for this old Capt.
Drive back to North Coast straight thru 13 hours, mostly in rain. First rain of consequence since falling now.
Itchin, burning feeling last week in Waves became visibly pronounced on trip back...picked up one of those Home Depot items...shingles. Blame stress as cause from the week w/ a mother-in-law who hates all men. Location of shingles not on back, neck, legs, arms or "clam digger:):) but on face, in hair, mustache and mouth. Nasty to look at as well as too experience. Advise get the shot if you haven't already. Nerve pain, itching, earache, headache non-stop even with anti-viral drug. No idea if working as drug side effects = exactly the symptoms. Exhaustion and insomnia also. Been able to only muster 3-4 hr.'s of work daily.
On the lighter side...tried to use scabby face as excuse to escape OP (78 year old) divorcee last nite, just recently recipient of triple bypass. Wants this Capt to be her date for upcoming wedding. Would not take no for answer. Up side is looks 20 years younger. Brunette, tanned, toned and top heavy. Needless to say not liked by any other OP women here cause of her looks. Well known for the click, click of her clear plastic high heels at the pool.
Neither the Kitty Hawk Ghost or the Waves Banshee traveled back w/ this Capt. As mentioned in posts - not jokes.
Crew already plannin for 2023. As of now split btw Kitty Hawk and the Tri-Cities again but later in the summer.
Soon be time for annual family clam bake.
Still have to unpack bins and wash and repair fishin gear, trim back all overgrown plantings, trees, shrubs, finish winter mess in gardens and put down last of mulch.
Gas early this AM = $4.37.
