There are rock ledges and rapids all over the area. I don't fish the west side because of them.
We did go to a boat dealer in April to get quotes on a new boat w/ jet drive motor. WOW.
A seventeen ft. wide boat/ center console & trailer was between 17k - 22k.
With a 30 hp jet drive motor. Nice boats but we'll wait another year. Prices should come down next year according to the dealer.
All boats are on order right now. Delivery dates sometime in July.
They are still trying to get caught up after Covid.
