No fish in the box,
We have a 14' flat bottom w/5hp short shaft engine. Usually we fish up till the river levels reach 3'6" or below. Anything below that & you could hit bottom at various sections. Most of the water levels at the runway are between 1-2 ft. higher than river levels. The airport had to do some dredging years ago because of safety in case a plane went off the runway.
The boat landing at the Turnpike Bridge is owned by Steelton Borough. It cost either $5.00 a day for a permit or $53.00 a year.
There is a Fish Commission launch just to the south of the runway at Swatara Creek off PA 441. From there you could probably head south towards the dam if you want.
If I remember correctly, you have a Bass Tracker?
