Date: Thursday, 7-1-21, at 10:34 a.m.
0520 - 1020 hrs. Surf. Dropping tide. Narrow band of clouds overhead most of the morning. Few spits of rain. 5-8 SW and some W. West brought in tiny beatles not flies. Small croaker. Squid. Shrimp, cut bait nothing.
2 other fishermen out briefly. Nothing.
Round 0930 hrs. Big shark I.D.'d as Mako cruising outer bar S/N.
Dinner Cockeyed Clam Buxton. Remodeled. Clean incl. restrooms. Drinks not correct 2x. Breaded oysters wet on bottom. Hushpuppies no where near old Captains Table. Given a straw w/ wrapper pointing towards WWII vintage. 55 minutes from seating to food arrival.
Plus side, Great food! Best found this trip. Definitely would go back. All food served hot by pleasant server. Short staffed like everywhere.
BTW: Gendarmes... State, local, + unmarked small black sedans prevalent in and South of Tri-Cities every day.
