my grandad used to put black walnut hulls (the part that you open when almost dry) on the ground and spray water on them. the worms would roll up out of ground. only thing, you had to rinse them good after you picked them up.
i've heard some weird sounds up here too. guy over the hill says their is a panther roaming around here. i think it is a large bobcat. they can scream pretty loud.
