Sounds like you'll be real busy for the holiday.

Need to mow here too, maybe Mon. No veggies on deck this year. Deer prevalent so deck is always only option. Just flowers. Kids providing produce.

Expecting fall like temps by mid week. Still in drought.

Even w/ plantings just on deck, marauders come. Motion light was on at 0610 hrs. this AM. Put fake snake (not Biden) on deck railing next to everbloomin sunflower to deter finches who rip up flowers daily. Last few nites something knocking snake down to floor and sometimes taking it off deck.

Power washin clams this AM w/ son, then eye Dr. appt.'s. Annual check ups, new glasses etc. Mrs. Capt has also developed double vision too. Parkinsons, diabetes, and dementia providing new challenges all the time.

W/ all goin on almost forgot to set up pacemaker monitor. Supposed to read pacemaker and send readings in while you sleep. We'll see. (Trust No One).

BTW this Capt's "techiness":):) began in the 40's using party line on phone. Talkin w/ 40 year old social worker this week and mentioned party line. She said "You mean if someone on phone already you couldn't use it"...and "You mean those on the party line could listen in on your calls"...
