Friday Report

Rodanthe surf. 0530 - 0830 hrs. Sunny. Water clear. WNW 5-9. Incoming tide. Heavy crabs. East Point continues to deny fish whenever N anywhere in wind direction. Same every year.
1 other fisherman out...gave up by 0730 hrs.
Last nite round dinner had NE winds briefly over 15. Whitecaps.
And...yesterday afternoon one of the Surf Camp staff took her little boy to surf edge, Had him drop trou and pee into the surf. Nice.
New bridge speed limit bein dropped dawn and dusk to protect purple martins.
Been no pileings driven for Jug Handle last 3 weeks.
Last report this trip.
Back to North Coast in the morning. W/ Mrs. Capt’s condition continuing to deteriorate may be our 39th and last trip. Couldn’t have made this trip had it not been for kids help daily.
