Thursday Report

Rodanthe surf. 0520 - 0900 hrs. WNW 6-12 changing to NNE 9-12. Partly cloudy to sunny by 0700 hrs. Heavy crabs again. Spot. Bait du jour = shrimp.

2 other fishermen out. 1 throwin silver, 1 spike fishin, got nothing.

Surf camp out at 0830 hrs.

Finally confronted OP who’s been letting yipper dog pee on our beach chairs. Only chairs on beach at that point. She said “ Oh those are yours”. ( Like it would be OK if someone else’s?.)Then proceeded to deny it. Told her I saw it from 15 ft. away, and to have a good day. She said “ I don’t know if I can now”. One other dog doin same but unable to confront so far.

Last nite after dinner, wind picked up from N as storms to north. White caps. 2 guys spike fishin. Spikes in sand at waters edge. Each wave goin way above reels.

Storms just nicked here round 2300 hrs. Little rain, no wind.

And....Lisa’s Pizza and Goodwinds both totally closed yesterday. More employees testin positive. Leaves Watermans and Boardwalk South the only open eateries in tri-cities.
