0630 - 0830 hrs. Ramp 25. Incoming tide. 10 - 15 SW.
3 legged charcoal grill left on beach. Large beach chair washed up.
Bait de jour = squid. Art bloodworms, shrimp, sand fleas just drowning. Lots o crabs.
Lots of sharks. None of the 8 types of fish on chalkboard at Fishin Hole.
Remember...they sell bait:):)Bad start to week. Son in law arrived short of breath. Beach rescue> Outer Banks Hospital> chopped to Eliz City hospital. Dr. Son nailed problem right off. Big pulmonary embolism. Treated today. So far so good. Kids/grandkids been shuttling back and forth to hospital.
Took youngest 2 grandchildren crabbin late morning. Their 1st time. Older 4 tagged along. Got 10.Taught youngest art of cleaning carapace, lungs etc., .. and she’s a natural.
Time for bingo, bunch....for all grandkids....plenty of prizes incl. “Mystery Money.”
