Guess I'm classified as a newbie to the Outer Banks (1980's reports). Only been coming down every year for the past 10 years. Before that it was every 2-3 years. 5 years ago we started coming down in May along with the third week of Sept. The May trip is mostly with kids & grand kids, so I don't get to fish much away from the house on the sound.
Fall time is mine. I'm never at the house on the beach except to sleep & eat.
The answer to this thread is Option F. If the fish ain't where your at freaking move, try different baits or metal.
If Ricky is out on the Free Agent and the fish ain't biting, he freaking moves.

I fish different ramps, The Wildlife pier, Bebops, the catwalk and lots of other areas. Can't say I like the crowds at the Little Bridge.
Anyhow, Tight lines everybody.
Hope the rain disappears down there for awhile for you King & Ricky.
