Thursday Report

Rodanthe. East Point. 0545-0930 hrs. ESE 10-15 early w/ some light rain dropping to E-8. Crysral clear low 80's water continues as does lack of fish. No bites.

3 other fishermen out at 7:30 hrs. for bout an hour...same result.

Surf camp not around.

Rain over ocean several times has dissipated to nothing before reaching beach.

Doin Stingrays tonite for dinner. Hopefully improved over past years.

Visitor complainin about canopies bein put up directly in front of her on beach all week ( btw...this crew invited her to join us for unobstructed view) continues to complain and ignore No Trespassing sign, brushin by it each beach trip. Complains about beach etiquette, but violates others property rights daily.

East Point posted No Parking both sides since last year. Car parked anyway this afternoon to carry girl on cruches to beach front house...same one thats has vehicles blockin driveway this week. Police called by OP curmudgeon visitor cross street. Nothing done re: that parked car + another and those blockin 1/2 driveway, tho both obvious hazards to driving and walkers.
