The main DMV in Manteo.

Just a "warning" was a 3 hour and 15 minute wait for the driver's license test and changed it from 1 gotcha sign to 5 with nothing on it.

And that was with people leaving, two working like snails a nice guy and a grumpy woman. One went off to lunch then the other when back.

Several waiting asleep, one left to go eat still hadn't called his number when returned, a spelling mistake made one start over in line.

Said the best time to go was early in the morning during the winter. I've got around it before by going to a better one in Elizabeth City.

Also said the feds are making you bring a list of paperwork to prove your not a terrorist starting in 2020 meaning bring your camping gear.
