The Avet 5.8 MC seems to be my best choice for a reel. The anti backlash function it has will for sure help me learn to use a bait caster type reel.
I'm probably going to order something online and get it before I come back down in Sept / Oct so I can practice with it beforehand.
Just trying to determine what length of rode (12'?), what type of action (Med-Heavy?) and handle type.
