Pyramids can be pretty exasperating w/ tangles but once you get the hang of it works well from pier or other structure.

In sound years ago, off what's now Corolla, worked real well if you could keep out all the pinfish and eels. Lots of green eels.

More from Mr. Peabody's "Wayback Machine"...Was the same area where one day crabbin w/ strings maybe 20 ft. long off a pier w/ steps to water. So string w/ chicken was the last 5 ft. in the water w/ rest out of water runnin up to the steps. Never saw what happened before or since. Crabs continually ran up strings to close enuf to catch em in a trout net.
