Off shore run

Well on Tuesday morning we jumped on the boat and out we went at 5:15am ... it was rougher than hell getting outta the inlet and out about 20 or 25 miles ...then it was just ground swells . We caught Yellow and blackfins all day , I had a blackfin on and the capt is yelling for me to reel , said a shark was on it .... then he says stop and just crank him in easy ...then wham ... a blue marlin swallowed the blackfin .... after 30 mins we got him close enough to see and the mate grabbed the leader ...he snapped off but the mate said everything of 500 ...sucker had to be about 8ft long . Ended my day with a small white marlin . What a trip ...and we got two citations ! Had 215lbs of Tuna meat between 5 guys ! That was after cleaning ! Best day ever for me on a boat for sure ! Was on Fintastic ... Capt is a college friend of a buddy of mine , great guy and mate was awesome !
