Could be like BBQ, you can't get sliced anywhere here because the tourists don't like it that way.

Best aged ham I ever had came from a farmer staying in the trailer court that was from a pig raised entirely on peanuts, tasted like peanuts.

Also get some spicy homemade sausage sometimes that comes from another farmer that stuff is too good.

Nothing like what's at the grocery store.

My great uncle raised and sold pigs for awhile until he got bit in the leg by a big hog and crippled it for the rest of his life.

He had a big cut scare going all the way down his leg.
