Did not have any luck this morning.The south holston river is a tail water river and the dam below it ''Boone dam '' is out of commission for at least the next seven years.If you want to read about a lake in distress go to a TVA/Boone lake website.The people with property on the lake slips are high high and dry,and I mean very high and dry.A lot of these property owners counted on the lake for their retirement.It's a weird to see foliage on the river bank of once was a lake.Some hired a big butt chopper to get their boats off of their high and dry docks.Now back to cooking fish. I sear all fish in a pan with a little olive oil with a little salt and pepper,with the exception of fresh water trout.I was prepared to cook a deer stew one night at our hunting camp and one of the buddy,s came in with unannounced trout.I had the charcoal going so I ran to a little market out in the middle of nowhere and they had some lemons,the last thing that I thought I would find there. Back to camp,sliced lemons in the trout,wrapped in foil and on the grill.Grilled bread and such stuff.Top five meals of my life.Being with friends makes it special.
