I use a Gander Mountain GSX Titanium rod , made out of Mitsubishi rayon or something. It's a light action , rather than an ultra light , just for better hooksets and it works well for jigging. The Trout Magnet jigs are great , just bounce them. Small spinners work well too , but I prefer to jig
