Return to homestead smooth. Arrived 7/4 @ 1410 hrs.

And yes, Mrs. Capt pretty good w/ the shoppin till Cotton Gin in Jarvisburg.

Take a week at least to unpack, clean and make repairs while simultaneously holding back the jungle growth from last 3 weeks rain.

Neighbor as usual watched the plants while gone. Said never had to water till morning we returned. Found all the veggies wilted from lack of water. Feast or famine re: his help. He means well tho.

Have couple more rants but will save for later. Hint...couple re: NC drivers.

Otherwise playin catch up w/ bills, wash, bocce, etc.

And...no teasin bout the drum caught?? Surprised.

(King) blew horn each trip by...never saw you stir. Mrs. Capt too pooped from shoppin last Mon. to call you for late lunch). Sorry.
