Bay Drive. Is that the road on the west side of the island, on the bay between Kitty Hawk and Colington? On the map I'm looking at it pretty much runs NNW to SSE with no direct connection to the bypass.

A few years ago took a kayak tour that departed from a public ramp off Bob Perry rd. That might be another possibility for crabbing.

Usually we go under the Washington Baum bridge.
