Where you're located will dictate the type fishin license you'll need.
If you're fishin nites have good supply of insect repellant w/ DEET.
Watch for the cottonmouths sound side. If you're going to be up north watch for gators too, and south watch for sharks (rumors persist re: both).
2 years ago at sound spot in pics, huge fish (or gator) splashin in 3 ft. water. Possibly a return of the "Salvo Hole Monster" to different waters??
As for the showin off comment from "King". Just jealousy! This Capt doesn't carry a camera to record his infamous exploits...son along w/ one that day. Those pics were posted earlier to satisfy doubting regulars, and instead just continue to foment relentless teasin.
Seriously, fish in pics were small fry. Hit right spot and you'll quickly be tired of baitin and catchin. Steel leaders w/ hooks attached w/o mono good way to preclude bite offs.
You can expect pigs, pins, puppy drum, specs, weakfish, rays, blues, skates, lizard fish (good cut bait), sea robins, turtles etc. if you fish sound off HI. Squid and shrimp best to begin w/ if you don't have live bait. Fish early, fish late. Cheap pyramid crab traps are available too for drop in off your pier.
Have safe driving and fun trip.
