Back when it still had the old octagon on the end , it probably did have 20-30 feet of water off the end and the fishing was great. As recently as 4-5 years ago , it had filled in to where the north side was only 7-8 feet deep for quite a ways up the beach. It'll be interesting to see what we end up with , to say the least. I'm just hoping the new owners are able to keep it , and keep it fishable , since they were all fishermen.

I'm hanging in there. Everything with me is on hold. My sis had a bad reaction to an antibiotic - bad to the point where a lung transplant was discussed , and it may not be off the table entirely yet. So I'm not having anything done until she's out of the woods and doesn't need me. Might be quite a while , so you guys will have to catch my share of fish for the foreseeable future.
