I can tell you that there have been stripers caught near the pier you are speaking of. The water just north of the pier is wadable out to about 50 yards where it drops off to about 7 feet. I think this is the area you are wondering about. You can wade north to the point then head west for a little bit. This is all good water for fishing. Good luck to you and give us a report.
