Last time I was down it wasn't too low , but that's been almost a month. I was just catfishing from the bank. Too many "Visitors" and pleasure boaters on the water then , but it should be getting better now. I usually don't hit the water for Stripers too hard until Halloween , then fish until almost Christmas. I know the smaller Stripers have been biting good if you can find them. From what I hear , there have been quite a few big Stripers caught the last 2 years. Biggest I've heard of was 39 pounds , but of course I never catch anything anywhere near that size , unless it's a Skate or a Ray :):)
