Re-Wiring Gotchas , maybe *PIC*

Winter is coming , and I'll probably put something on my website about this later , but for those of you that fish Gotchas , don't throw them away if the wire breaks or rusts through.
Somewhere on one of the old fishing forums there's a how to about rewiring them with wire like you'd use for king rigs. It works perfect , but wire is pricey.
Yesterday , I sat down and tinkered with some 50 pound mono and redid about 10 gotchas with it. Won't rust , easier to work with , and I managed to do a pretty respectable fix that looks really close to how they ship from the factory. I'll let you guys know how they work. I may have to change how I have them rigged just a little if the line stretches too much , but I already know what I'll do different if I have problems. I'll probably use a small snap in the loop to keep a hooked fish from pulling it back through , but I think it will work ok.
