I think it's better handling of seafood now than it used to be, the convenience store biscuit / hot dog case is more likely to get you.

One place I got the bad oysters at was a restaurant on the Nags Head Causeway. I can't remember the name, it was where the Lone Cedar is at now and had green carpet on the walls and probably why.

The Lone Cedar is really good, no problems with their food. I stopped going there because the place became to popular and they raised the prices.

Miller's used to be so so, I haven't tried there lately.
