Rodanthe didn't have a king all last summer , but there were a lot of Cobia caught. There are fish around now , from what I hear , and August is usually good.

We always called them "Pins" , as in clothespin , because people used homemade releases. Most of the pier houses are selling releases now that are made out of spring wire and egg sinkers , that's what I've been using. Saw a guy in May using some kind of a shower curtain ring with a trolling clip on it.
