I walk my dog regularly in a park near my house just outside the Philadelphia area. There is a guy I see there that that is totally into metal detecting mostly for the historic things he finds. He showed me pictures of a Gold coin he found in the area. He said he normally doesn't sell the coins he finds but this one was worth about $80,000 so he put it in auction and it ended up selling for $110,000. Now I hear that the people who found those coins are going to owe the IRS 1/2 of the find. Should have never told a sole.
