It sounds like your rangers are better than ours. I live at the bottom of the Blue Ridge Mountain. Went to the grocery store yesterday and found a guy on the phone trying to get a ride back to the mountain, I knew he was one of many that hike the Appalachian trail,said the rangers hiked out to the trail and made everyone leave. Did Not offer any kind of help when they entered Shenandoah Park. That park ends at our town and begins the Blue ridge part which is not gov. run. I took him up to a road that use to access our bear camp that the gov took away years ago eminent domain because it was to close to the trail. I still know the way around there gates. This trail is in the middle of nothing but they still had to do their jobs, got to love this government.
