What I found at Foggy Mountain Gem Mine. The bowls are from a 2 gallon bucket and the bowl of bigger ones maybe can be cut I picked the best ones.
They have examples of what to look for glued in box displays hanging up at the flume and answer questions. They can cut or have jewelry made there.
I am getting a silver wide band men's ring made with a nice star sapphire I found there, he said one like it was appraised for $5,000 when finished.
Some of the more common big pieces in that there was dalmatian jasper, red jasper, tiger's eye, citrine, sodalite and also had a lot of trash gravel.
They look kind of like regular rocks I found a pecan truck from South Carolina parked on the side of the road selling them and I got a bag of pecans.
I was sorting through it, the piece of dalmatian jasper at the top then above is an emerald in stone, brown one is tiger's eye, purple one is a ruby.
There is a couple of large pieces of blue sodalite buried down in the bottom. The solid white was opal and I almost tossed it as being a white quartz.
I think those were in the bigger display hanging up on the wall at the end of the room with more inside not in the smaller displays next to the flume.
