Spring Fishing Question

Hello everyone,

I'm planning a week long trip down to the Outerbanks in the spring(2012) for probably March or April. I'm going to relax and go fishing and was wondering which month is better for fishing?

I understand it depends on a ton of different factors, but any help would be hopeful. Thanks everyone!
