Aug fishing

I'm a recently retired Army guy and my brother is coming home first week in Aug for his well deserved R&R from Iraq. We're getting a condo out by Wilmington for a week and would love to do some salt water fishing during that time. Any suggestions on a good opportunity? Any certain species for this time of year? I'm retired in WI so I'm a Salmon / Trout guy out here on lake Michigan. Looking for something for 2-4 people.
