Right now the weather has turned real cold and I don't think very many are fishing because of it. The temps are suppose to warm up later this week, lower 60s Friday so far. If it's real cold and windy from the north your face will go numb out on the beach.

I've heard some stripers were caught from the beach at the VA/NC state line. The only thing I've seen in this area has been some people fishing after dark at the beach access by the Black Pelican Restaurant in Kitty Hawk. Maybe something might be going on there.

The parking lot lights at Avalon Pier might also be worth checking out.
