The Passat will probably need a tow truck to get off the beach.That last few feet comming off is usually rutted and soft, not enough clearance with what you have got.Spent the last 25 years running full size Ford Broncos and Jeep Grand Cherokees on the beach and still got into some near problems.The Tomato Patch is good also try The Run Down Cafe.If you want to spend a little more the Blue Point in Duck is good.
