Hell the shopps are not even open then in Duck .I suggest the beer isle in Food Lion for entertainment.But the bottom line is a week on the Banks is better than anyplace in the real world at any time.You might get a few warm days, and enjoy the Banks without the mass of humanity that shows up in season.Plenty to enjoy and discover.Take a day and drive from Duck to Hatteras. Take the ferry to Ocracoke and enjoy the ride.
