Did you ever go north 10 -12 miles and try the slough to the left of the Bonner Bridge. You can fish from the shore or walk the shallow edge of the slough for a few hundred yards out. It is probably 15-20 ft. deep or more, and not have to deal with the sea critters.Probably will have the same result.Do not step in from the shore side, that first step is in 6-8 ft of water.Do not go at dusk,the bugs will eat you alive.Incomming tide best. Avoid sw winds fills the slough with grass.
