walmart has a i think 25 pound bag of ant and bug killer. it is granular. has to be dry outside. throw it up against foundation all the way around house. i also throw it on my firewood piles. i have big black ants and some piss ants. they hate this stuff. they will not cross this stuff. i put it out now and in fall. no more ants. i think it's called "eliminator".
