On the North Coast:
Can contest property taxes here too. Have made it so complicated and time consuming few do it. Even then most are rejected.
Property and car insurance not here yet. Sure they'll go up too.
Eggs of course high, bacon still $4-5.99 unless on special.
Wind advisories have caused no problems so far. Snow finally melted off deck last Sat. In the Mar. up and down temps now.
One item of good news, the WEP and GPO have been removed from this Capt's Social Security payments. While those were in place, lost $89,000.00 in payments.
When tryin to cash Fed. tax return, bank would only accept deposit, would not cash it. Funds available for withdrawl only after 36 hours. After all who would not trust a refund check written by the U.S. treasury??????????????????
Re: Trumps speech. Long. Dem's made fools of themselves "Again"! Liked the kid getting "agent" status + one getting W. Point appointment.
Fish fries begin this week. Best deal at local church (senior rate) = fish, shrimp, crab cake, or perogi dinners (each w/ 2 sides) for $12. Roll w/ butter and coffee incl.
Annual Fishing Flea Market, Oberlin OH, April 4-6 may be the last. Up for sale after this one.
Deaths continue here in the OP community. Sad. Last = wife w/ long history of cancers, diabetes, dialysis, fell breaking arm and shoulder. After hospital stay went to nursing home and fell and broke her hip. Passed this week. More and more guys needin to go on oxygen.
