A regular carp is good but full of bones and is best for fish cakes not sure about the other kinds of carp.

Some people will eat anything if they are hungry, long ago during the great depression years my grandfather trapped possums at a junkyard.

Then he sold them to the black people and remember him saying they kept the possums in cages for three days to clean them out before eating.

Just so you know the correct way for some of that stuff, it's probably important. He had more high class to eat like fish and loved frog legs.

I think chickens and rabbits at some point along with a big garden with everything the family grew, so just saying you can get by with nothing.
