Neighbor in Carova has been posting pics of bait fish washed up on the beach. Don't know if there was a fish kill or something chased them up there. If I could get some of the jobs off my work desk, I'll make a run down. We used to get a nice striper bite this time of year. Reading that folks are already catching stripers in some areas up this way so they could be some around OBX.

Thermometer in the porch says 39 degrees in the sun but that wind is blowing 20+ so it feels much colder. Burned all the sticks from the yard two weeks ago but I have to do it again now. Just ran new wires for the fish finder on the Yak but now it doesn't turn on. Think I rushed things trying to keep my hands warm. Gonna have to wait for a warmer day to figure it out.

Everyone up this way has their Eagles green. Kids will get a day or two off from school if they win.
