Currently 20 degrees here. Facebook predictions are a really cold winter to back and forth with the weather Jan 4-5 storm below.

They are getting those meyer lemon trees big in pots on Youtube and they are producing lots of lemons, sure is stay on top of it.

I like lemonade, lately Wendy's has two different kinds one good All-Natural Lemonade another one not Minute Maid Light Lemonade.

You have to specifically tell them you want their fresh lemonade or you will get the other one is zero sugar that you don't want.

Navels might be good now, red delicious apples at the local orchard this year had me coming back and not bad at the store either.

We used to get those oysters and fry them all the time and they were cheap. I think it's becoming like crabs for the rich people.

A couple of good recipes if your bargain hunting at the grocery store for a cheap seafood fix .......

Macaroni And Tuna Salad

1 (12 oz) can StarKist solid white albacore tuna, drained (break into small pieces)
a little lemon juice
1 tsp mustard
1 (16 oz) box rotini macaroni noodles
Kraft mayonnaise enough to lightly coat
1 (5.75 oz) small jar sliced green olives

Cook macaroni and drain in colander. Run cold water through noodles while draining. Mix together - let sit in the frig for a day before serving. If noodles absorb the mayonnaise add more or more lemon juice and mustard if it has no twang.

----

An oldie but goodie, they did stop making those small croutons in a can. I've been using Olive Garden croutons in a green plastic bag.

Salmon Cakes

1 can of pink salmon (remove small bones)
1 small (minced) onion
1 egg
2 tbsp. flour
2/3 (small) can croutons or 2 slices of bread (broken into small pieces)
4 tbsp. water

Mix everything together in a bowl, make into 4" size cakes in the pan with a spoon and fry in small amount of cooking oil flipping once or twice until golden brown on both sides. Double Q brand canned pink salmon is the best, don't use white salmon it's not as good.
